Ingredients
Sugar Cookie Dough:
½cupsoftened butter(115 grams)
⅔cupsugar or maple sugar(90 grams)
1egg
1teaspoonalmond extract
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1 ¾cupfresh milled soft white wheat flourfinely milled (228 grams)
½teaspoonbaking soda
¼teaspoonbaking powder
¼teaspoonsalt
Cream Cheese Icing:
8ouncessoftened cream cheese(227 grams)
½cupsoftened butter(115 grams)
¼cuphoney(75 grams)

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Chill the dough in the fridge for 20-30 minutes. It should not be completely hardened.
Spread out a sheet of parchment paper and roll the dough out on it into about a 12 inch circle. You will need to add flour to the dough to keep the rolling pin from sticking.
Place the parchment with the sugar cookie dough onto a pizza pan or round cast iron pan.
Bake for 16-20 minutes until golden brown.
Allow the sugar cookie crust to cool completely.
To make the icing, beat the butter and cream cheese together for 3-4 minutes until fully combined and fluffy.
Add the honey and whip for another 2-4 minutes until fully combined.
