Ingredients
1poundground Italian or breakfast sausage
1/2cupfresh milled soft whiteeinkorn, spelt or kamut
2cupswhole milk
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/4teaspoonpepper
Biscuits - One batch of our flaky buttermilk biscuitslinked above
Instructions
In a sauce pan, brown the ground sausage over medium heat.
Reduce heat to medium-low and add the flour. Stir.
Pour in the milk, salt and pepper.
Continue stirring while the mixtures heats and thickens.
Serve over Fresh Milled Biscuits for a delicious and hearty breakfast.
